Considered a unit of German Zaenderists from Teutonnia, the Teutonnic-Volunteers, is ready to fight to liberate Teutonnia from tyranny. This force of defects who chose to fight for a freer, greater Teutonnia under the vision of Aleczaender, has sacrificed everything to ensure justice is served. A dedicated force, equipped with Teutonnian weapons and gear, they are ready to storm the trenches to crush Teutonnia for Octavium.
History
The division began as the Legionary Volunteers of Octavium. Its Discord server was opened on 15 October 2025 and its Roblox group was created two days later, on 17 October 2025, under the Legionary Orderstate. It was in the field almost at once. The earliest surviving Orderstate rally return, dated 18 October 2025, records the Legionary Volunteers rallying ten men and meeting their target.
The first recruiting posters went out on 19 October 2025 and sold the unit on its equipment. They advertised the uniforms, a custom StG-44 that no other division carried, and custom halftracks, and they asked for men for a Stormtrooper element. Six days later the Volunteers were drawn against the Legionary Guard in the opening match of the revived Zaenderist Games, held on 25 October 2025.
The German identity came later. On 15 February 2026 the Roblox group was renamed Legionary Teutonnic-Volunteers of Octavium. On 4 March 2026 the Orderstate announced the reformed unit as its rapid deployment and volunteer shock division and called on Teutonnic defectors to enlist, with a Stormtrooper Century named as its first specialised formation. Recruiting notices of this period record German field kepis and stahlhelms as the division's mark.
The reform of June 2026 moved the Volunteers out of the Legion and into the Army. The Army of Octavium group was created on 4 June 2026, and on 5 June the division took its present name, Teutonnian-Volunteers Division of Octavium. Centuries gave way to battalions. Grenadiers and Motorized were raised on 11 June 2026, and a Stormtrooper Battalion followed on 19 July 2026.
The months after the reform were hard. A new commanding officer took over on 13 June 2026 and purged the enlisted the next day, after a divisional rally drew one man. A new overseeing Major General was appointed on 23 June. Divisional personnel fought the Order during the army revolt of 7 July 2026 and were decorated with the Zaender Battle Honor Medal in silver. Attendance recovered on 11 July, when the division rallied seventeen men against three at the previous muster. A division-wide purge began on 20 July 2026, and on 29 July every battalion and company except the Motorized Battalion was dissolved.
