Loyal to Aleczaender above all, the Army, swears diehard devotion to defending the borders of Octavium. After being in reserve following July 6, the Army returns with furious vengeance to once again win against the enemy. Against all odds, the Army shall stop at nothing to deliver a total victory against any foe that dares to attack the vast borders of the Imperium.
History
The Army descends from the primary battlegroup of the Eternal Octavian Imperium, the group Aleczaender founded with Parsifal on 19 September 2020 and known as Octavia. Its task then was to defend the lands of Octavia from invaders. It was commanded by Grand Marshal OswaldRichterian under Supreme Marshal Aleczaender, and it was the Army that besieged Paris, held El Alamein against the Russians and the British, and finished Britannia in England. Oswald was removed once in favour of VasileRichterian, who resigned after nearly losing the defence at El Alamein, and Oswald returned. Command passed afterwards to VonwherRichterian, then to RichardRichterian, then to FrankRichterian, who held it until the Great Destruction.
When the movement regrouped as Imperium Octavium the Army was carried over as one of three imperial branches, beside the Imperial Regime and the Imperial Legion. It was still standing in the spring before the fall. A member's account of his first day in Octavium, 31 March 2025, records walking to the Army headquarters in Madrid and finding Waugin preparing the Army while Enzaer prepared the Legion for the bi-weekly rally.
The trial of 6 July 1954 (2025) ended that Army. Aleczaender was convicted by a tribunal seated in Teutonnia and removed, and Octavium passed to men installed under Teutonnian occupation. Legate EnzaerYSmith formed the Legionary Orderstate out of those loyal to Aleczaender in both the Army and the Legion, but the Orderstate had no Army branch. Its fighting bodies were raised one at a time as divisions instead. The Armoured Division and the Teutonnic-Volunteers Division opened their own servers on 15 October 2025, the Shock Division on 31 October 2025 and the Velites Division on 15 February 2026. For that year the Army existed only in its divisions.
The branch returned with the Imperial Restoration. On 3 June 2026 the Octavians were told the Legionary Orderstate had a week left to live and that new branches would be created for the divisions and departments to fall under. The Roblox group Army of Octavium was registered on 4 June 2026. On 5 June Aleczaender announced that the restoration was being enacted and that the main group, the branches and the divisions would be rebuilt with their own ranks and uniforms. On 7 June the Supreme Command ordered six divisions into the Army: Armoured, Velites, Marines, Gendarmeric, Teutonnian-Volunteers and Shock. The Regulars Division followed within days. Waugin was raised to Generalissimo. On 13 June 2026 the restored Imperium held its first rally, with 193 present.
The Army has not been idle since. On 30 June 2026 Army and Legion formations were drawn up for inspection at the founding of the Global Order of the Divine with Austrum and Alemannia. The Soviet Union declared war on 13 July 1955 (2026) and full mobilisation was ordered the following day. The Octavian War Games were re-established on 16 July 2026 as a fortnightly test of divisional activity and combat readiness, attendance mandatory for Army and Legion alike. On 27 July 2026 Generalissimo Waugin received Aleczaender at the airstrip before the massed ranks of the Imperium.
One limit is worth stating plainly. Every Discord server the Imperium now keeps was created on or after 8 July 2025, so nothing above concerning the years before the trial rests on a surviving message archive. It rests on the Imperium's own written lore and on the Roblox register.
