The Octavian Wiki is a community encyclopedia. It collects the least it can and hides nothing about what it keeps.
What we collect
If you sign in with Discord the wiki receives your Discord account id and display name, and through Bloxlink your linked Roblox account name and your rank in the Imperium group. Your Roblox avatar picture is fetched for display. These are held in a server-side session so the wiki knows who you are while you are signed in.
Security records. Like any website, the Chronicle keeps standard technical records of visits. They exist for the security of the site alone, are held privately in the Imperium's own records, are never published or shared, and are seen by nobody but the owner.
If you edit or propose, your name is written into the article's public revision history. Edit history is public and permanent — that is the nature of a wiki.
Cookies
One session cookie, wiki, is set when you sign in. It is HttpOnly and Secure, and exists solely to keep you signed in for up to thirty days. There are no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies of any kind. One flag (octpriv) is kept in your browser's local storage so the privacy notice is shown to you only once.
Retention
Sessions expire, and you may end yours at any time by signing out. Security records and public edit history are retained for as long as the site operates.
Sharing
Nothing is sold or given to third parties. Sign-in data passes through Discord, Bloxlink, and Roblox only as required to verify who you are. Security records are seen by the owner alone.
Your choices
You may read the entire wiki without signing in. To end your session, sign out. To ask about the data held on your account, or to ask for its removal, contact the Graend Council on the Imperium Discord.
