What Led To Stalemated
Aleczaender’s Return
On March 17th, 1953 (2024), Aleczaender returned to lead Imperium Octavium, which
was maintained by VillicusVilheist, NateRomanowski, and PaterickJSmith for Aleczaender to
lead. After hundreds cheered for Aleczaender’s return, Aleczaender gave a speech declaring the
end of the degeneracy, money-grubbing cashgrabs, and orwellian-level boring content, and the
beginning of a new group, a new genre that will breed Strength, Brotherhood, and Loyalty,
through the creation of fun and dynamic content under his leadership. “Parabellum” was the
community Aleczaender founded, but was usurped by Lakeland_L due to distrust. Parabellum
under Lakeland went nowhere, it fostered no plan for content or for the community, and was
eventually destroyed by the Ruler of Teutonnia, Leutgard, due to it being useless. Octavium and
Teutonnia would then form a new community known as ‘Stalemated’, where Octavium and
Teutonnia were the only legitimate, interactable governments, in order to independently built a
new concept for content for the community.
Octavium annexed Farvala (Portugal) while Teutonnia annexed the surrounding
European lands in Russia and Yugoslavia. A cold-war brewed between Octavium and Teutonnia,
until eventually Octavium held a convention at the ‘Alpine Border’ to discuss the “LVF
Question”, whose illegitimate government controlled the regions of Vichy France. This land was
initially given to Octavium, but under protest of the Ruler, a new offer was made where
Octavium would gain Teutonnia’s southwestern sliver of France, and Octavium would also keep
it’s Italian territories west of Genoa. After this agreement was signed, Octavium constructed
“Borderfortress Vindicator”, and began mobilizing soldiers on the border with Teutonnia.
Skirmishes broke out on occasion, and slowly evolved into a bigger fight, as Teutonnians
advanced into Octavian territory, and then Octavium pushed Teutonnia back into their territory.
Islands belonging to Octavium were also met with a naval-presence by Teutonnia, with threat of
invasion, but would lead nowhere, as Teutonnia did not want to provoke a world-war with
Aleczaender. So for months, the two nations remained at peace, as Octavium trained up it’s
military forces, and rebuilt grand cities such as Madrid, which were dead since the Octavian
Civil War.
Teutonnia’s Collapse
On February 5th, 1954, Teutonnia would face an administrative collapse, and the
retirement of Ruler Leutgard. Coincidentally, on the same day and at the same hour (8:30 PM
Octavian Time) Teutonnic forces were wandering the Pyrenees Mountains, way beyond their
territory in Northern Occitania. Octavian forces at 9:05 PM Octavian Time crossed the bridge,
and RandomGSmith who was in command, demanded the Teutonnians leave. The Teutonnians
grouped up, agreed to leave, and declared their excuse was that they were on an “expedition with
no intent to enter Octavian land”. On February 6th, 1954, Octavian forces were deployed to
Borderfortress Vindicator once again on the orders of Emperor Aleczaender, after more word of
Teutonnians crossing the border. Octavians manned the border for several hours, until Teutonnia
approached the border. An announcement was played where Aleczaender demanded Teutonnian
forces to leave the area, as the full region of Occitania, including Northern Occitania occupied by
Teutonnia, was an Octavian claim. Teutonnia ignored the announcement, and told General
RandomGSmith they were not leaving, not without a fight. At 9:30 Octavian Time the
Teutonnians opened fire from the hills, and the Octavians returned fire, advancing forward with
artillery, tanks, and machine-guns against the ill-equipped Teutonnian forces. After a short battle,
the Octavians seized the camp, and Aleczaender himself deployed to the region, to declare a
reclaiming of both Northern Occitania, and “the liberation of France from Teutonnia” on the
grounds that Teutonnia no longer had a legitimate state.
On February 6th at 8:05 PM Octavian Time, Octavian forces reached Champagne, as the
Teutonnic Army was on the run. At 9:10 PM, Octavian forces were right outside Paris 20 Km,
and took shelter inside an abandoned Napoleonic fort. At 9:20 PM, the Teutonnic Rulersguard
assaulted the fortress, taking the Octavians by surprise. Octavian forces responded with artillery
and motorized warfare, counterattacking the Teutonnians. Octavium lost the fort and the other
side of the river, and for awhile battled hard against Teutonnia, which equipped some of their
soldiers with captured CETME II’s, shotguns, and rocket-launcher missiles. At one point,
Teutonnia even launched a “UFO-Attack”, killing dozens of Octavians. Teutonnic forces
nonetheless lost heavy casualties to Octavium, and Octavium regained the fort, crossed the river,
and pushed the Rulerguard back in full retreat. At 10:00 PM, Aleczaender arrived to the fort,
gave a rousing speech declaring the liberation of France and the rest of Europe from Teutonnia,
and announced a new dawn rising as Octavium once again influences Europe as the sole major
power. The Octavian banner was raised over France, and Octavian forces would march into Paris
by Midnight.
A New Beginning
With Leutgard gone, the “Teutonnic Remnants” would reform into the RG-Orderstate led
by Engellman, Leutgard’s top loyalist. Octavium would once again control and influence the
world, but Aleczaender did not plan to conquer it, as he did during Octavia’s reign, but rebuild
all the old empires and nations of the world again, so that the world would prosper under a
unified community of nations, and not a single hegemony dominated by one leader. Aleczaender
rallied the nations of Britannica, Byzantium, Ruthene, China, Russia, and other minor-powers, to
come together and build a community, where all nations could prosper, encouraging a
“neutral-grounds” where all the empires of the world would deploy their forces, and come
together, in order to work together as a community. With this, nations that were at one point not
recognized as legitimate due to their lowly status, were now given a chance to take part in the
“larger-scale” politics of the world.
With Teutonnia collapsed, plenty of land was given up for taking by the many empires
and nations of the community. Octavium would seize France, leaving Germany independent,
while portions of the Balkans and Eastern Europe would be given to different empires. However,
Northern Italy would be disputed, as multiple empires laid claims with multiple reasons for being
in the area. This would lead to a “DMZ” being created between multiple empires, including
Octavium and the RG-Orderstate, which would establish a neutral buffer-zone in the meantime.
Stalemated no longer is a perpetual war between Octavium and Teutonnia, but has become a
battle-grounds, for the many empires of the community to swing their swords, in an attempt to
seize it for themselves. Will Octavium maintain the peace as the new police of the community?
Or will the RG-Orderstate avenge Teutonnia, and destroy Octavium and the other free-nations of
the world. Or, will a new empire rise above all, and seize the world for a new and refreshing
cause, above all else.
