The Legion is older than Octavium. In the Eternal Octavian Imperium, founded on 19 September 2020, the Legion was the elite battlegroup, tasked with special operations, skirmishes and small battles. It did not begin there. It was carried over from Aleczaender's Korea, where it had been the Shock Division, and it kept the same standards under the new name. Its uniform was grey with blue trousers, modelled on the Condor Legion. It was kept deliberately small. Men joined it for the frontline fighting that most of the Army, held in reserve, rarely saw, and it took no interest in recruits who were not already expert fighters.

 

It was led by General DragunovRichterian, who had built it up since the German Socialist Superstate and later rose to Joint Marshal to oversee it, then by CodyRichterian until his retirement in Galactic Octavia, then by SpartanRichterian until the Great Destruction. Joint Marshal VianyRichterian held it in the beginning. The Legion was paradropped into Paris alongside the Army for the seizure of the city, and it fought as a close-quarters unit in occupied Allemande and in Paris.

 

Under Imperium Octavium the Legion stood as one of three imperial branches, the Imperial Legion, beside the Imperial Army and the Imperial Regime. Raynard Z. Horrigan, later crowned Imperator, is recorded as a founder of the Orderstate and the former Legate of the Legion. On 31 March 2025 a new arrival at Madrid found Enzaer preparing the Legion for the bi-weekly rally.

 

After the trial of 6 July 1954 (2025) it was the Legion's men who carried the state. Legate EnzaerYSmith formed the Legionary Orderstate of Octavium out of loyalists in both the Army and the Legion, issuing new uniforms so that Zaenderists could be told from disloyalists. The Orderstate's Roblox group was created on 7 July 2025, the day after the trial, and the Legionary Police group the day after that. The launch call went out on 9 July 2025 and named three bodies to enlist in: the Order, the State Police and the Legionary Guard. All three are Legion cohorts today. A rally of 93 men on 24 August 2025 earned the right to open another division, and a vote of 104 Octavians the next day chose the Legionary Inquisition with 54 votes. The Vanguard Cohort opened its server on 3 December 2025.

 

The Legion did much of the fighting of the Second Octavian Civil War. The Legionary Vanguard secured the ground outside Toulouse at the end of March 1955 (2026), the Orderstate broke into the city on 26 April and took the Rulersguard Castle after hours of house-to-house fighting, and the Rulersguard capitulated on the Alpine border in May.

 

The branch was restored with the rest of the Imperium. The Roblox group Legion of Octavium was created on 4 June 2026, minutes after the Army's. On 7 June the Supreme Command ordered the Police, Order, Inquisition, Guard and Vanguard cohorts into the Legion. Legion uniforms and equipment were added to Mount Invictus on 11 June. The dark blacks and browns worn under the Orderstate were traded for the whites, greens, browns and blues of the years before July 6. Dixie Richterian took the Legion as Legate, and the branch's own directory entry of 15 June 2026 describes it as formed from the ashes of the Imperium, holding police, Vanguard and the Praetorian guard of Aleczaender under one command.

 

One limit is worth stating plainly. Every Discord server the Imperium now keeps was created on or after 8 July 2025, so nothing above concerning the years before the trial rests on a surviving message archive. It rests on the Imperium's own written lore and on the Roblox register.
